What Would Your Hero Do?

Posted by Matt Langdon on October 11, 2006

Allen Galbraith has a post about how to deal with difficult people on his blog. His advice is, “When dealing with difficult people imagine how one of your role models or heroes would deal with them.” Lifehacker has the linking post too – channeling your hero

Christians have made this sort of thing a catchphrase with What Would Jesus Do? – so effective that it is recognized simply as WWJD.

Who are your heroes that can guide your decisions? What would Frodo do? What would Lance Armstrong do? What would Tintin do? Make yourself a note on an index card and put it on the dash of your car or next to your computer. Next time you have a decision to make, maybe the letters WWLSD will help. If you can answer the question, you’ll know you’re making the right decision.
