Marcus Thames Has A Hero

The Detroit Tigers’ player, playing in the World Series this week, has a hero in his mother, Veterine.  Over twenty-four years ago she was in a car accident that rendered her mostly unable to move.  She refused to let that stop her being a mother to her five kids and has inspired Marcus to work hard for everything and to always persevere.
