Cameron’s Journey from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

I was supposed to be presenting at the ACA Midstates Camping Conference today, but instead I’ve spent four out of five days with a miserable flu/throat/headache thing lying in bed or on a couch. So, I did what anyone does when they’re sick, I watched movies.

I’d been meaning to write up Cameron’s hero’s journey from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off for a while and now I had no reason not to watch the movie again. Most would think Ferris would be the hero in the story, but really he is the mentor that allows Cameron to undergo a journey. You can read my thoughts in the List of Journeys.
