Phil Zimbardo interviewed by Guy Kawasaki

Guy Kawasaki has interviewed Phil Zimbardo about “The Lucifer Effect” (which I’m still waiting for from Amazon as no shops here had a copy).  It’s a great introduction to the ideas in the book and finishes, as the book does, with a taste of heroism.

“I have to believe that by creating a generation of such ordinary heroes is our best defense against evil, whether on the battlefield, in prisons, or corporate headquarters.”

He also talks about a desire to get children to become heroes-in-waiting so that when we need a hero, there will be plenty around.  I’m interested that he’s keyed on children.  I can’t wait to get the book.  I’ll write more once I’ve read it.
