avondale2.jpgI presented at Avondale Meadows today and had a great set of six classes.  I have five to meet tomorrow.  Steve, Kit, and Todd came with me and we got some great photos and videos that will make their way onto a revamped Hero Workshop website over the next week.  If anyone has advice on using YouTube or another way to get videos easily online, let me know.

What would you like to know about using youtube for getting videos online, Matt? On WordPress it’s the easiest thing ever to embed a youtube video in a post. You just type
If you’re doing it on a regular website, I don’t know if you’re using a mac or not, but if you are iweb has a little insert video tool that makes it equally easy to put your youtube video into your site. Is that what you’re wondering about? I’m no expert but I have used youtube to upload and store videos and I’ve embedded quite a few on wordpress.

Thanks Bob. I basically don’t know anything about it, so I’m wondering if the video needs to be of a certain format to upload to YouTube – the videos I have a re Quicktime. I’ve embedded videos before, so it’s more that I need to know how to upload. Millions of other people have done it, so I’m sure I’ll be able to work it out.

I now need to know if anyone can suggest a video editing program that can amplify the voices. They’re definitely on the quiet side.

When you create your account on youtube one of the buttons you get to use is “upload”. I’ve used it to upload quicktime movies many times. I’ve also used it to upload movie clips from my mobile phone so it seems to be able to handle a wide variety of formats. I think what it does is converts any movie file you upload to a “flash” format file.
Amplify the soundtrack? Don’t know I’m afraid.
