Volvo For Life Awards

Volvo have recently announced the finalists for their Volvo For Life Awards at their website. The heroes are nominated in three categories: safety, quality of life, and environment. This is the sixth year Volvo have given awards to people doing amazing things for their world. Volvo gives them a stage to get their message out and also money to help them continue their crusades.

There is also an award for children, called the Butterfly Award. Three children have made it to the final round. Zach Bonner works to help homeless children. Rocco Fiorentino is helping those with coping with blindness. Dallas Jessup created a documentary, “Just Yell Fire”, to help young girls survive attempted kidnapping or violence.
