And so does Roger Federer.
It’s good to see the top two players in a sport showing such strong character. The two men respect each other to the utmost. Nadal had no extravagant celebration after beating Federer in straight sets today at the French Open.
Nadal is young, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way he acts. He is humble. He still lives with his mother instead of seeking a tax haven home to protect his millions of dollars. He shows respect to his opponents.
If you’re looking for a good role model in sports for your child, perhaps you should look at tennis.

It’s the first time I see such a a clear comment on Nadal’s respect toward Federer (and viceversa). Usually forums are full of fans declaring Federer’s class and technique against Nadal’s power and run (as these last 2 qualities wouldn’t be part of tennis). It’s good to see that another human being notices their fairness.
