Finding The Hero Inside

My Hero Is… Wesley Autrey (by Kit Bennett)

Posted by Matt Langdon on January 8, 2009

Kit has submitted a video talking about his hero, Wesley Autrey, and what he represents to him.  For those counting, yes this makes two videos in two days.  3 in 3 days would be knock me over with a feather territory.  Remember the whole set is at the Hero Workshop YouTube page.

There was an incident similar to this in Washington DC on Tuesday. http://officer.com/web/online/Top-News-Stories/Houston-Officer-Saved-Woman-from-Train-at-Inauguration/1$45082

A woman fell onto the tracks at a metro station, a Houston Transit Officer was there assisting with the inauguration, the officer pushed her out of the way of the train and then with the assistance of the local DC transit officers and DC Metropolitan Police assisted her to safety and to the hospital to be looked over.

  3. Thanks Stephen, I saw that too. Great story, yet again. We could make an entire subsection on Subway Heroes.
